Favorite Things........

Don’t forget I’ll be drawing two winners later tonight—one from the comments left on each of my blog posts for today.

Since Maggie already blogged about the allure of Wrangler Butts, I’m gonna talk about some other stuff I love.

Cake Batter Ice cream from Coldstone Creamery
Starbucks Guatemalan Coffee and Toffenut Lattes. I’m a total coffee snob too *blush*
A good book
A day of writing that flies by as my pages fill and fill and fill (hey I can dream can’t I?)
Action Movies
Birthday Cake Remix from Coldstone Creamery (seeing a pattern here?)

Okay spill it. What do you love? What’s your secret indulgence? What do you hide from your kids or do when they're not around that's just totally for you?

So now I’m going to sort of shamelessly self-promote my upcoming release. It’s not often that a writer gets a gift-book, a book that pretty much writes itself, but Once in a Blue Moon was one of those and it's definitely one of my favorite things.....

Here’s what The Romance Studio had to say about Once in a Blue Moon:

“This hometown story is unbelievably down-to-earth, sharp-witted, and exceptionally well written. Between the backstabbing, bickering, luscious gossip, and hot explicit sex, the readers will want for nothing….If you only read one contemporary erotic romance this year, put Once in a Blue Moon by Celia Stuart, at the top of your list!”

Loved the excerpt for Once in a Blue Moon! As for things I indulge in when I am alone...well I am very much like you in that I love ice cream. My favorite flavors are Peppermint and Coney Island Cone. I enjoy listening to music as loud as I want and playing my electric guitar when I can. It's fun to be able to take a long scented bath and read while relaxing in it. I am also an artist by trade so I enjoy time alone to focus on my artwork..be it drawing or crafting. Movies are always a plus and being able to fall asleep when and where I want and not having anyone accuse me of it or wake me from it is aways beyond price.

Hershey's. Plain. Just relaxing & letting it melt in my mouth.

Godiva Belgian Dark Chocolate Ice Cream. 'Nuff said.

And I've had the pleasure of previewing Once In A Blue Moon.

Trust me. It's a once-in-a-lifetime book. ;-)

Great excerpt. Love the rules.

Reese Peanut Butter Cups are my favorite secret passion. The kids are getting better at sniffing them out though.

Chocolate ice cream with PB cups...even better.

Barnies Coffee. I'm a coffee snob too...:) Pumpkin spice, Jamaican Blue Mountain, and white chocolate mouse are three of my favorites.

When I'm alone, I like to curl up with a cup of coffee and a good, spicy book...:)

Cece this book is right up my alley because I love to read about hot cowboy westerns and I'm not sure why because I have never lived on a farm or even really know any cowboys. Maybe that is the attraction. When you sent those 3 excerpts out it felt like the dialogue was happening with me involved. This is going to be a treasure. I just know it. Thanks for writing this cowboy story. I'm really excited to get me hands on this book. It is released tomorrow right? And what time - do you have any idea? AM - PM Afternoon??? Getting anxious....

You make me smile!

Oh and Cece

One of my favorite indulgences is to hide with a great book even if it has to be the bathroom so I don't get interupted but it seems even then they know I'm not around and they have to check and see what I'm up to.

A nice hot bubble bath with candles, a drink and a great book!
Heaven on earth!

Chocolate Ice cream with peanut butter cups sounds heavenly as well!

Anybody have any fun ideas about exercising. I need 30 minutes a day and I'm not sporty! Ughhhh!

I know I just ruined everybodies fun, right?

I love the excerpt! I would say one of my favorite luxuries is curling up with a good book, my favorite quilt(my grandmother made), and chocolate. Another favorite is a long bubble bath, because being a mother of two toddlers, that does not happen often!

At the moment I love lemon sorbet and pepsi max and icecubes - yup, summer is fast approaching in Aussie and these things keep me sane.

When I'm alone I curl up in bed with a book and relax. Of course that happens like never lol lol.

Hi Cece, my list of indulgences --by no means exhaustive LOL -- are books, DVDs, music CDs, TV, movies, banana fritters, pineapple tarts, chocolates and ice cream. You have a very distinctive voice, love the OIABM excerpt.

Jillian I love PB cups too! Time to find a new hiding place. I can't ever hide anything (even myself debbie) from the kids.

Debbie you're so good to me! I think they release them in the eveing. How about a nice long walk with a book on CD? I've got the same problem and I'm off all week so I'm making myself go back to Curves.

Trista that Pumpkin Spice coffee sounds heavenly!

Amy what is it about cheesecake? I have a friend who makes Peppermint ones for christmas--heaven!

Brownies yum! Esp if they're iced and have nuts in them.

I love MY CAT, books and magazines of which I have zillions, chocolate, 80's music and movies, tattoos of which I have zillions *G*, music and anything and everything Native American, Scottish or having to do with Pirates. I hadn't heard of Coldstone 'til I moved to RI. It IS delicious. Cece, are you near me?

Enjoyed the excerpt! I knew lots of cowboys when I lived in Texas. Nothin' like some cowboy lovin'..*wink*

It really turns her on
She's always staring at me
While I'm chuggin along...."

Thanks everyone for the good wishes. I love this book!

Bama--it doesn't happen much when they get older either. I pray for quiet which is probably why I don't go anywhere when the kids are gone.

Jaynie yum! I love lemon anything!

Jennie music and tv are definitely biggies on my list too!

Melj--I'm not near you. I'm in Texas! We just got our first one around here and I'm so glad. I had a friend of mine who lives in Wa State teasing me about that birthday cake remix *drool* I love my kitties too. Matter of fact, as soon as we get the boy fixed we'll probably get another one.

Hehehe I love that song!

I love catching Chris Cagle in concert - then stopping at Whataburger after - woohoo!

You get the food and the show - if the man would only turn around while he's in line - not that I am stalking - no

No never would you stalk my dear...stalkers follow people and hound them. How were we to know he liked Whataburger ;-)
