I was watching a lot of cartoons in the '80s such as Jem, The Smurfs, and Care Bears...but I did watch other shows.
I loved the following:

Dramas:
MacGuyver (would love to see this show make a comeback...wishful thinking I guess)

Comedies:
Facts of Life
The Cosby Show
Alf (I loved him!!)
Punky Brewster
Designing Women
and late 80s I believe Full House came on

Game Shows:
Family Feud
Let's Make a Deal
Press Your Luck
The Price is Right

Oh and I forgot Silver Spoons! I loved that show.

I still watch reruns of the old tv shows when I can.

Did that ever bring back memories. Some of my favorites were:

Battlestar Galactica was a must see (this ended up coming back but is totally different than the original)
The ATeam was another must see.
Three's Company was so funny.
Alf was great as well.
Facts of Life was also fun as well.
I loved the game shows, especially Lets Make a Deal, The Price is Right and The Dating Game. I also thought the Newlywed Game was hilarious.

Holy smokes:

Comedy: Facts of Life, Cosby Show, Punky Brewster (I actually looked like her and decided to go with it for Halloween one year), Silver Spoons, Diff'rent Strokes, the Muppet Show, Fraggle Rock, Charles in Charge, Who's the Boss?.

Cartoons: Smurfs, GI Joe (such a girl am I, huh?), Hercules (before school), Transformers (again...such a girl...my brother controlled the cartoons), Looney Tunes (favorite is still Bugs & Elmer Fudd when they did the opera music)

Dramas: MacGyver, Dukes of Hazzard, Airwolf, Greatest American Hero, Automan, Knight Rider, All Creatures Great and Small, The A-Team, Simon & Simon (absolutely adored AJ Simon)

There are probably more but this was 20 years ago...not too shabby if I do say so myself.

The only 80s show I watched without fail was Miami Vice. The first season was awesome. The last season sucked. But always great music and neat guest stars. Sonny and Rico in a reprisal? Sure, but who would play them?

Nessie
