Q & A + Eye Candy = Prizes!

We've been talking over here at Liquid Silver books.

What do our readers want from us?

So today, I'd like to hear from you, the reader.

What sort of stories do you think are HOT now? What sort of fun things would you like to see on our website? E-cards? Quizzes? What can we do to improve SEx? *snicker*

Anything and everything, I want to hear it.

And yes, authors can make suggestions too, lets keep it from a READER standpoint please.

Two people today will win a prize! I've got a download from Liquid Silver and a $10 Amazon gift certificate. So if that's not incentive to tell me your deepest darkest desires for Liquid Silver, I don't know what is!

Oh, and the eye candy is to make you look! ;)

I think what's hot now are BDSM romances (F/M or M/F/M) featuring paranormal or otherworldly heroes in fantasy or futuristic settings but without degradation of the heroine.

Free wallpapers would be a nice touch because LSB has such fabulous covers. You can also have a list of monthly best sellers and ability for readers to rate the books they've read.

Perfect Jenny! That's what I'm looking for.

I must agee with Jenny. It would be wonderful to have a section where readers can rate the books they have read. I am relatively new to ebooks. Almost everytime I have asked about what one should buy if one were interested in an author's work, people have said, "Oh, get them all"...not a lot of help if someone were trying to narrow down to one choice. Likewise, I would like the opportunity to spread the news regarding a book that I really loved.

Stories that are hot for me are contemporaries- race car drivers, cowboys/ranch type, humorous.
I like quizzes and contests;

LLL: so a feature like "Tell a Friend" link to send a "Hey check out this book" sort of email.

robynl: do you want further "tags" on the books? Would that help find a readers "specific" tastes.?

I would love to see contests, quizzes (maybe personality quizzes, or "Which Hero is right for you?"...LOL), ecards, and more interactive things on your website. Wallpaper would be good too. You have some great covers. I also agree that it would be neat to be able to rate the stories somehow on your site.

As for stories, I would love to see some books with cowboys and more books with humor.

Hope I helped some and I am enjoying the Eye Candy!

Stories that I think are hot are vampire, werewolf, shifters, paranormals, futuristics, race car drivers, & cowboys.

I would like to see a feature rating the sensuality level in a book (like mild to scorching).

Contests are always appreciated! I also agree that your covers are so appealing that Wallpaper would be nice.

I also think that sensuality ratings would be a good addition and perhaps a customer appreciation incentive. Like having 10% off or getting a free book after buying a certain amount.

I've always been partial to vampires, werewolves and fairies, but at the moment I have to agree with jennybrat. I think BDSM is very hot right now and I enjoy it as long as it's not degrading to anyone involved.

Paranormals and futuristics. Quizzes would be great. Surveys would be good too. You could also have a free serial story wrote by a different author each week. Eyecandy is great! Free wallpapers and contests are good too.

I look for the fantasy and paranormal stuff myself. Sometimes a contemporary will hook me if the plot is different. Quizzes, contests, and reader reviews sound great to me. I like reader suggestions of good books. I am open to trying uthors I have not before but it sure would help having one or more reader's view of a particular book or books. Maybe you can offer a monthly drawing like you are today and put all the names of reader's who submit a review of a book in the drawing for that month. If I think of anything else I will write more later. Enjoying the eye candy.

so like buy book and get bookmark/pen (print book)
{ or ebook download background for comp} or printable bookmark with authro name of all books. so on.

cause i suck at finding anything , if i didnt have this finnaly saved in favs, couldnt find except for emails from yahoogroups, and thats a rarity , or maybe it aint, but i dont have those emails
tell a friend is a good idea too
plus rate 1-9 sort thing {on several differnt things, like the hotness of it, the feel good , stuff like that we can rate

Author interviews where readers can make up the questions would be neat too!

I've always been partial to fantasy characters and behavior that is gender atypical(probably because I was always considered a tomboy and always liked machines instead of dolls.Plus I like stories that have bbw because I'm just like everyone else, I like to occassionaly picture myself in the story.

Also , I love contests because I'm dead broke and that's the only way I can get anything.

Excerpts are definitely fun.I like the contests that have you read them to enter.

I'm definitely a fan of historicals, paranormal and fantasy. Like to see more time travels, any genre, and the pyschic also appeals to me.

Would be nice to see occasional sales or discounts of some sort, readers are always looking to save and buy more.

I think contemporaries and historicals are hot now, at least for me. I mix in other genres but those are the ones I'm reading mostly now.

I'd like to see some type of rating system for the books on the site. It would be fun to learn more about the authors. Maybe you could have an "author of the month" and have a page that tells all about them. You could have their stories on sale. Always love a sale! haha!
